Description
Oophaga pumilio
It is diurnal, territorial and feeds on tiny invertebrates. Its tadpoles develop in small water reservoirs, including bromeliads, and adults show notable parental care. In the region it is associated with leaf litter, roots and bromeliads in humid forest.
