Description
Bothrops asper
It inhabits humid low and mid-elevation environments, edges and rural areas. It is mainly nocturnal and hunts rodents, amphibians and other vertebrates. It should only be observed from a distance and with expert guidance. In the region it is associated with understory, riverbanks, thickets and humid rural areas.
